WHY I'M
HERE
Growing up, my dad was a small business owner and operator. Like many immigrant families, his business was a family-run venture that kept us afloat through the years. For him, it meant early mornings, late nights, and no weekends. I witnessed the challenges he encountered, the sacrifices he made, and how “professionals” steered him down the wrong path with misguided advice.
I chose this career as a way of paying tribute. It allows me to fulfill a role that was needed in my own family and in my community. I’m committed to supporting a group that has historically been overlooked. Business owners, both large and small, deserve trusted advisors who understand their unique challenges and can guide them on the right path.
WHAT I
DO
In my role, I specialize in financial due diligence, which means I closely examine a company’s financial records and operations before a sale or investment. My goal is to ensure that potential buyers or investors have a clear and accurate picture of the company’s financial health.
One key part of my work is conducting a Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis. This involves assessing the company’s earnings to determine how sustainable and reliable they are. Essentially, I evaluate whether the reported earnings reflect the true financial performance of the business. This helps clients make informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of what they’re investing in.
WHAT I
LIKE
I love staying active. I’m a passionate snowboarder and a mediocre golfer. This year I’ve conquered the Rogue River (white water rafting), boarded down some of the largest slopes (Palisades & Snowbird) and scaled Yosemite’s half dome. On the weekends, you can find me hanging out with my two dogs and my fiancée.
