At Lucas Horsfall, we know that the strength of our relationships is at the heart of what we do. That’s why our M&A team and COO Bethany Estrada were excited to participate in ACG Uncorked LA this year. In a world still adjusting to the impacts of COVID-19, events like these are more important than ever.
ACG Uncorked LA wasn’t just about enjoying great food, music, and hand-selected wines—it was about reconnecting with colleagues, forming new connections, and strengthening the ties that help us serve our clients better.
In the world of M&A, personal relationships play a crucial role in driving successful transactions. Our approach to M&A is distinctly personal. We serve business owners by playing the role of both confidant and advisor throughout the entire M&A process.
Selling a business is incredibly stressful and confusing for most business owners, and in most cases they don’t really know who to trust. We aim to fill that void. Our M&A team does much more than audit books and provide financial advice. We’ve been through the process dozens of times, and we use that experience to provide a sense of security by interpreting the confusing and often downright scary process so that it becomes much more manageable.
We translate all of the accountant speak into plain language, and ensure that our clients know what to expect at every step of the process, no matter how many ups and downs or twists and turns they may encounter. Without the ability to create strong personal relationships, we would never be able to fill this role.
For us, being part of ACG Uncorked LA was a reminder of how vital these person-to-person connections are. It was an opportunity to not only network but to deepen the relationships that are so essential in delivering the best outcomes for the businesses we work with. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant community, and we look forward to many more opportunities to connect and collaborate.
